Policy Profiles of Secretary-General Candidates
The 1 for 8 Billion has partnered with 15 leading NGOs to publish policy profiles of each candidate for Secretary-General. Drawing on the candidates’ vision statements, their statements at the General Assembly, and other public information, our expert NGO partners have broken down the candidates’ views on key policy issues.
The new initiative aims to ensure that civil society representatives, member states, and members of the general public can easily understand each candidate’s vision for addressing the main policy challenges that the next Secretary-General will face.
